New Owners. New Brand.

When new owners Bob & Donna Ball took on Nutshell, they decided it was time for a total makeover—changing the name from Nutshell Enterprises to Nutshell Environmental. The company had been around for more than 50 years and it was important to them to keep the name but update the brand.

Simple, Clean, Modern

Often companies get caught up in a complex logomark that overly complicates the message of the brand. 

In the case of Nutshell, their simple leaf hanging off the capital N was enough to create a distinguished logo and logomark. 

The smaller smaller, right aligned Environmental text adds a bit of intrigue as most logos are either left-aligned, centered, or justified.

Overall, the modern logo design is clean, easy to read, and, most importantly, speaks to the company’s mission: for a safer environment.
