Logo & Branding Design

KD Marketing & Co. founder Kristin Stuhler and Harford Designs’ Jessica Valis had been long-standing LinkedIn connections. Naturally, when it was time for Kristin to branch out to create her own social media marketing firm, we were the first place she turned.

Color

Originally requesting strong red and deep blue colors, we realized the logo became washed out by the various shades of red or the details in the logo did not hold the same power.

Not only that, but the colors no longer spoke to Kristin’s target market.

Typography

The typography evolved from a very loopy script to a simple handwritten one that was modified from its original form.

The three fonts used include Bodoni 72, Beloved Script, and Lust.

Trust Brand, Reimagined

Branding is more than a pretty picture. It’s the feeling of trust and expertise you convene to your customers without saying a word.

At Harford Designs, we conduct industry research before we hit the drawing board to ensure your brand stands up to the competition.

Custom Email Signature

During our First Look Logo Presentation, Kristin noted that one of the logo concepts reminded her of a Tiffany necklace she had.

While she loved the logo variant that would eventually become her official brand logo, she couldn’t quite part from the handwritten KD script.

Logos speak not only to clients but to the businesses they represent.

That’s when we realized we could use both—turning the version that held sentimental value into an email signature.
